   @bobjonkman@sn.jonkman.ca Just a brief note and a sharing request. As @mmn pointed out, because my ID changed when I reinstalled the GNU Social server at chirp.cooleysekula.net, it's causing headaches with some of my old federated friends. @mmn said his solution was to completely unsubscribe from me and then go to my profile and do the remote follow trick from there (https://chirp.cooleysekula.net/steve). This worked - I can see his posts. When you refollowed me, did you do that or did you use the "plus" icon next to my name in your "Following" list? I ask because I don't get your dents, but you seem to get mine. Anyway, let me know and hopefully we can figure this out! How the tables turn on dent availability... :-)

     Hi @Steve — I can't believe its's been a month since you asked me this; I've been intending to get to it "any day now". I don't recall what I did in your particular case, but most often I subscribe to people by putting their URL https://chirp.cooleysekula.net/steve into my "Remote Subscribe" field, not by clicking on the "Subscribe" button on their site.
