   Saw Mad Max: Fury Road this morning.

   The direction and scenery is very impressive, and it's cool that so much backstory and context is conveyed with just glimpses and indirect references ... but the main story can be told in five minutes. And it is, at the 1:19:00 mark. The rest is 115 minutes of drive drive drive explosions with some of that world-building weaved in.

     @clacke I’ve always said the vehicles have more personality than the characters in this movie. That’s a big part why I like it.
