     @strypey I maintain that Pleroma FE is very fancy indeed and that even running Pleroma FE on a GS BE was a bigger upgrade on both GS FE and Qvitter than switching out the BE was. 😃

     That was my first impression, having used the GNU social UI in the original Identi.ca and the Qvitter UI or Quitter.se (which if I remember rightly is where we first encountered each other?). I had a Pleroma test account a couple of years back and used it a bit. Nothing I saw changed that impression.

     @strypey That is a complete misrepresentation of how Pleroma FE looks and what it does. It was a rewrite from scratch by people annoyed with both GS and Qvitter and it looks like neither, but instead makes its own compromise between linear and conversation-oriented, one which I preferred to both GS and Qvitter right out of the gate.
