Jesse (yetanotherjesse@mastodon.social)'s status on Wednesday, 31-May-2023 23:21:24 UTC Jesse Weirdly, dispelling the myth that Chik-fil-A uses pickle brine to make their chicken taste good (it's MSG) has been more effective at making my crunchy evangelical friends/family weird on CfA than anything about their moral positioning.
I would also accept them softening their stance on MSG as a win.

I'm sure there's a nexus of bodily and spiritual purity that I'm not quite wrapping my head around, but MSG is definitely verboten.
