Chemist Glenn Theodore Seaborg was born #OTD in 1912.
Seaborg discovered or co-discovered ten (10!) transuranium elements: plutonium (Pu), americium (Am), curium (Cm), berkelium (Bk), californium (Cf), einsteinium (Es), fermium (Fm), mendelevium (Md), nobelium (No), and seaborgium (Sg). He shared the 1951 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
