   Very much a bummer to see all the image and video scraping accounts from Twitter showing up here, monetizing other people’s content without crediting them or linking to the original posts.

     By all means, please share fun and interesting stuff! But credit the folks who took the photos or made the videos or whatever. It’s so easy.

     @heurism Sure, I do too. It can be harder to track it down in that case. But accounts that scrape from sources that include attribution, or build their audience on the work of others who could be credited with little effort, should do better imo.

     @quuux PayPal link in their main bio. The mastodon account is a feeder for other platforms. Again, I’d have no problem with it if they credited / linked and used content where creators deemed that sufficient. Good and responsible curation is worth supporting.
