@yaxu I don’t like the binary very much and strongly identify as an “ambivert”. Sometimes I really love being with people and then often quite suddenly my mood changes and I need to be alone. I think each mode helps me get the most out of the other mode. (And now being an extrovert has a physical price for me so it is actually quite useful to have the long-term experience of switching off quickly.)

For the second time I've been suffering from mild insomnia for some days and gone into an event pretty exhausted, had a couple of days of high social interaction and little time for sleep, and come out of it feeling totally energised and refreshed. Maybe I'm an extrovert after all. Or maybe the whole introvert/extrovert distinction is bad science.
