Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Monday, 23-May-2022 10:50:39 UTC Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π I'm a little bit drunk. Very comf drunk.
I had two drinks in an hour, I usually have no more than one.
I would like some Swedish HK fedi friends and we would hang and just eat pancakes and split pea soup and we'd look at our phones and say nothing.
But that's a ridiculously small demographic.
Maybe add Scots? They seem a bit Swedish in their general life persuasion. But not so many fedi HK Scots either. I think.-

No autocorrect here, not even after sangria.
That's an interesting thought. Alcometers for enabling/disabling autocorrect?
Or maybe just a threshold "ok that's enough I'm stepping in". -

Steven Roose (stevenroose@x0f.org)'s status on Monday, 23-May-2022 12:48:10 UTC Steven Roose @clacke Why not just autocorrect always? I just got a new phone and the default keyboard on it didn't have autocorrect, boy did I type slow and bad. Had to switch back to Swiftkey unfortunately :/

Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Monday, 23-May-2022 12:48:10 UTC Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π @stevenroose My experience is that it automiscorrects more often than not. I just check my text one more time, or not, it's fine. -

Autocorrect would destroy both, incidentally. -

Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π (clacke@libranet.de)'s status on Monday, 23-May-2022 13:53:17 UTC Santa Claes πΈπͺππ°π @shapr I went to DC once, 23 years ago.
That's a no I'm afraid. I know four Swedes who used to be in NYC years ago, at different times, but they eventually returned to the old country. -
Emacsen (emacsen@emacsen.net)'s status on Monday, 23-May-2022 16:35:16 UTC Emacsen *shrug* I know a family of Swedes in NYC. I don't really understand the point you're trying to make- people come and go out of NYC. It's a very intense place.

Could he count?
