Not so much for the main story, but because it takes place in 1967 and features, far in the background of the main story, a glimpse of the communist riots of that year in Hong Kong, about which there is otherwise precious little media. -
Paul (paul@social.lightlyseared.online)'s status on Friday, 13-May-2022 08:03:09 UTC Paul @clacke They're not that far in the background, but those scenes were quite a revelation for me. I know know practically nothing about Hong Kong's history, and this was something I'd never even heard of.
The film is well worth seeing.
