How about a big dumb one?
We had a 3 kW or something before and all of them are now < 1 kW and take forever.-

Doing it slower and for longer probably even leaks more heat. -

It probably wasn't quite that high, maybe a slight exaggeration, but I know there are kettles that go about that high. The outlet is 13A * 240 V = 3.12 kW. Probably most stick to below 6A though, so that'd be 1.44 kW.
The rice cookers in the online shop are rated in three segments, where the highest is "> 350 W" and the old cooker was certainly closer to 1.44 kW than to the bottom of that bracket. -
