@FrontiersHumanNeuro this happens because juggling 3 or 4 languages is hard because concepts, idioms and words get in the way as the brain speaks the concept that comes easier to it (disregarding the language as it understands them all) but what's harder is to select the right speech that can also be understood by the audience especially if that language is not the most appropriate to renderer the concept. Basically our brain tends to spend the least amount of energy

We conjugate Cantonese nouns in Swedish when we use them in Swedish sentences, we put the English definite article on Swedish nouns when we soeak English and in daily conversation we routinely use sentences that less than 1000 people in the world would fully understand the first time they hear it. π
