@urusan@mdhughes If I'd have to drown my coffee in sweetener or sugar, I'd prefer staying on tea. I'm talking about potentially actually appreciating coffee here. =)
@clacke@mdhughes@urusan Same. I would really love to like plain coffee, as most people who like it seems to really like it. I want to be part of that gang 馃檪
@clacke I like the smell of freshly ground coffee, I like the taste of tiramisu too, even coffee flavoured cookies with my tea, but actual coffee can go down the loo.
@clacke If you take a small amount of sugar in tea, you can do the same with coffee. But if you're drinking coffee flavored candy, you aren't really a #coffee drinker. (Same for overly sugared tea.)
@sjb@clacke@mdhughes@urusan but I like plain tea. I should be able to like coffee too. But so far it's not going very well. I'm still practicing though.
@loke@clacke@mdhughes@urusan I think black coffee is supposed to taste somewhat bitter, even with "burnt" overtones etc. Just like tea without milk or sugar is pretty bitter (or at least not sweet at all).
