@neauoire
I believe urbit has something similar to name their ships & things.
I like your proquints π
@neauoire
slightly on a tangent, but that's how my brain works.. ;)
Maybe also interesting to look at is ULID, a spec for Universally Unique Lexicographically Sortable Identifiers. It basically allows you to generate good UUID's that are ascii-sortable..
@woozong yeah, stars and planets in urbit have a pronounceable form which is <3
@clacke I saw this one :D But it has these weird cases where they're hard to spell in a sequence, sequences of dt, lr, fn, etc.
@cblgh kudiz linaj π€
@neauoire *in the year 200022, a remnant nomad tribe speaks purely in 4-syllable computational idioms, handed down through time from the oxen language of old"
@neauoire yup, love me some proquints
@neauoire I find really interesting (and even love) this idea of representing data as pronounceable "words" or even as spelling alphabets.
@clacke yes! something like qr codes for humans.
@clacke you're like way more aware of these things than me, I love all the links you've given me so far, do you know things like this that are graphical? like sigil encoders and that sort of things?
