Years and years later Kirk would believe he was landing on a different planet, but he was actually back on the same planet, his crew got captured and his old enemy wanted to take his ship to resume his conquest.
Talk about a long Khan!-

FiXato (fixato@toot.cat)'s status on Monday, 03-Jan-2022 10:11:46 UTC FiXato @clacke the series is full of easter eggs and other references, which is a big part of why I like it. :)
If you'd like a companion series to not miss all the references, have a look at #TrekCulture's "The Ups and Downs of Star Trek: Lower Decks"

I didn't remember Chekov was on a different ship!In conversation permalink -
jec (jec@social.alesan.io)'s status on Monday, 03-Jan-2022 18:21:16 UTC jec @clacke To their credit they thought it was a different planet because something had happened to the star (I think?) and the orbits shifted. Also it was that other ship that landed, the one were Chekov was serving. Then they get the mind control bugs In conversation permalink -
