  @be This is why languages like Zig interest me. Unfortunately it's really not practical to learn less popular languages while I'm still getting my degree. Maybe it's the wrong approach, but if it doesn't help with my classes I'm much less likely to spend free time on it.

  @be For C# you can use mono compiler. https://www.mono-project.com/docs/about-mono/languages/csharp/ and its the best programming language ;)

  @be Why? As long as it's free software we can fork it. Programming languages aren't generally as complex as web browsers, are they?
