Local version is Manglish which combines phrases from Malay, Hokkien, Mandarin, etc.
Home-grown is something I just realized most other Malaysians may not be used to, if let's say they heard me and my mother speak. It's like Manglish but with even more irregularities, and we can talk about quite sophisticated things like FOSS and imperialism too. HUH AND I just realized we probably invented like around 5 sign words.
