Ask any socialist on anticapitalist.party, they'll tell you that USSR is not socialist. That's how they dodge their responsibility to justify the system.

At the end though, the article describes how the extreme left felt about his views and it pretty much agrees with the guesses in our thread here.

@dt No need to. Just say Stalin and/or Lenin betrayed the ideals and the system never got the chance to show its worth. Or go further back and say the Mensheviks had the right idea.
