@paulfree14 @antanicus The developers who care, including me, are actively working on helping the company migrate to using better software.

Suddenly #Windows10 switches to Metro mode. I have never seen this happen before. All I did was start Chrome, I think. I've quit Chrome but now all the apps are fullscreen and I don't know how to make them stop.

@dwmatiz There it was! "Tablet mode".
THANK YOU
-
@antanicus Yeah not my choice. Most of my time is spent in Ubuntu in VirtualBox.
-
@dwmatiz I guess I misclicked when I wanted the WiFi tab or something.
-
@awg What if I used Chrome because I needed Flash?
-
@awg ... how many wrongs does it take?
-
@awg I ... that ... If you're already ... That sounds like a really good idea. I'm actively considering that right now.

@antanicus @paulfree14 We have a note in the office that says in big, friendly letters: "The problem is Windows."
Quite often when people come in and have a question about something weird that just happened, we just point to the note and raise our eyebrows.
... and then we go to work finding out exactly how Windows was the problem this particular time and how we can add another workaround.

(in reality, the letters are in Inconsolata 14 or something, so not that big and not necessarily optimized for friendliness ... depending on your friends)
