     UK NHS victim of #WannaCry cos couldn't afford upgrade from Win XP. Could they afford switch to Linux? Would it have saved them?

     @harmlessgryphon They would pay MS loads for Win 7. Switch to Linux would cost something towards planning & training but little compared.

     @thestevebiggs Given the extreme change in user interface towards newer Windows versions (Win7 is close, but not sold anymore by Microsoft) I'd say "planning & training" is inevitable. Drivers et al generally don't work in Win10 either. So GNU/Linux is the only sane choice for a morally inclined person.

     @mmn @dwmatiz @harmlessgryphon Do Git in your team / on your own & sync master with MS-SS repo. We did. Eventually they switched to Git :)
