and what was *really* fun: interview with local radio (RTV Noord) - I had thought it would be recorded but it actually was live! A short interview about new courses coming up for Grunneger Toal, with the woman (Wil) who coordicates all those courses, and with me (as the crazy woman who comes all the way from Amsterdam to get lessons in Grunneger toal in Grunnen). Of course I got to demonstrate my beginner "skills" in speaking Grunnegs, too. that wasn't planned, but Wil and I had agreed to talk Grunnegs as much as possible. ;-) Just 6-7 minutes, but really fun! Now I'm working to get my hands on a recording....
@lnxw481a To make it really fun, what you're hearing here is *both* Dutch and Grunnegs. The presenter speaks Dutch (during the interview he mentions he might be interested in learning Grunnegs as well), so is the news (on the hour and half hour), but the lady who gives the weather forecast - after the news - speaks purely Grunnegs. And during the interview both Wil and me speak (mostly) Grunnegs while the presenter speaks Dutch with a few words in Grunnegs here and there. ;-)
