Got my new phone and installed the most important things that do not require transferring data from my old phone - but I'm having trouble suddenly getting used to Android 6.0 (plus I picked up a newer version of ADW Launcher which also takes some getting used to. Unfortunately, my favorite alarm app Timely consistently crashes on launch so I had to find another alarm clock. Now I need to find a way to transfer apps and data from my old phone in a way that takes the least amount of juice (if I can manage to even charge it!). !grrr

@mk You could just mount it via USB.

@vinzv it's precisely the microUSB port that is giving me grief: if it barely makes contact to recharge the phone, how well do you think mounting the phone would work? :( It's still not *totally* broken, but it will be fiddly and I forsee lots of curses... Some way to transfer stuff via WiFi or Bluetooth may work better, if that doesn't totally drain the battery.
