@clacke just because *you* are not clumsy doesnโt mean this isnโt amazing for anyone else
castle quest was a cute nes game with cute art. I discovered this game along with the whole nes hacks community that fixes the obnoxious mistakes bugs and deficiencies in NES games to make them tolerable to modern games. We're a spoiled lot.
got weirdly obsessive with 8x8 pixel patterns
(This is all tiles extracted from every NES game, stripped of their palettes, seperated into bit planes, symmetry reduced and then ranked by count)
it's a circle. It's a hilbert curve. It's a tone map. It's whatever you want it to be, for the low low price of free.
This is kind of a cute redesign, right?
I made a thread of painted avatar interpretations as they appear through my blurry crappy eyesight.
finger flicking is shockingly fast by the way. (this is four consecutive frames from 240 fps video)
I reverse engineered my TV's network protocol and made a web app to replace the broken remote control.
I made these smart folders that show me everything that's been touched on a disk for the past year. That's how I'm finding out the sheer magnitude of random ass personal projects I started and then forgot completely about 5 seconds later until just now.
I guess the thought of a desktop LSD blotter printer was funny to me at some point?
I joined an engineering course and tried to make a popcorn kibble toy for my dog. (i failed)
I worked on my markdown dialect that I call "meme", a nod to the mime/multipart format.
Why buy sound baffling when I can painstakingly cut and assemble it myself from cardboard. I'm completely sane!
???
I remember making this animation.
I do not remember why.
@GoatsLive I wouldn't know who to ask
Oh I get it.
iGot

Things I did in 2021
@voxel i think i might just submit this to ikea at some point as a way of making navigation of their showfloors easier
@voxel thanks. if you squint you can see that theyโre arranged as a hilbert curve traversing the corners of a 4 dimensional hypercube.
extremely normal thing to draw for fun.
