@gedvondur @craigmaloney this. Depending on how dumb you want it to be, Nextcloud can do many things: sync your contacts and calendar, upload your photos, fetch RSS for you. I don't have experience with Syncthing but I think it's very simple and just fetches new versions of files?

@cwebber basically the only computationally expensive task I do is software development (okay and guix).
If people would realise that their phones are sometimes 1.5-2x times slower than their desktop, more would answer positively I believe.
If not for development, I would say "yes" probably. Not sure.

@mayel I want to hug everyone on SocialCoop because you are so cool and I kinda want to help but I'm pretty happy with my instance and I'm not sure I can take more responsibilities beyond Tusky and I'm terrible sysadmin so I can only wish you all good luck!

Thanks to @technomancy we now have a separate workflow on Circle CI for building APKs!
The service itself is great, flexible and easy to set up. Debugging via ssh is a really great feature.
