@thelovebug 1. Regarding mentions in note's text, I need to make sure that #AndStatus correctly identifies them and make corresponding fix. Hope this will be better in v.38. 2. In order to have NOT-combined timeline for an account: 2.1. Open corresponding combined timeline 2.2. Select the account (in a Navigation Drawer) 2.3. Turn off "Combined" flag (in a Navigation Drawer) - now the timeline is created! 2.4. Go to Manage timelines, find this new timeline and make it Displayed or even Default if you need... 3. Regarding unnecessary "Sent "someuser"" timelines - I fixed this in code already and this won't happen after the fix. Existing unneeded (not opened, not being synced and not "displayed") timelines will be purged automatically and periodically...
@thelovebug Looking at this your note, I also see that it was not recognized as mentioning of my actor. Although I do receive Mention notifications in some cases. Will investigate this further, thank you for reporting. Regarding "Mentions" timeline, it was replaced with more general Inteactions timeline. Please read the changelog http://andstatus.org/changelog.html
Apparently AS has most of the features, found in the other clients, but… buried under the pile of a context menus! — Like in order to use it efficiently (or use it at all) one has to read a few hundred pages long Operation Manual… as if it were an elaborate industrial equipment :)
I also like the colored "dependency graph" of a conversation. — Cool feature.
@xrevan86 I'm starting to see, what happened: you checked missed notes at "andstatus@masoton.social" user page at Loadaverage "Notices by AndStatus@Mastodon": https://loadaverage.org/user/358749 But when _I_ checked the same web site, I looked at my "andstatus@loadaverage,org" "Home" timeline at another url: https://loadaverage.org/andstatus/all And at "andstatus@loadaverage,org" Home page I don't see some notes by "andstatus@masoton.social". E.g. with words "When I "Reply" to myself, I see empty toot at first"... @6gain
@xrevan86 Thank you for checking! Looking _now_ at my home timeline on the Loadaverage web, I also do see notes, which I counted as missed and which I still don't have in #AndStatus on both my devices. I didn't do screenshots, so this needs to be re-checked... But maybe the problem occurs, when notes are arrived from #Mastodon out of some presumed order? From my side I will check if that concrete "lost" notes cannot be loaded to AndStatus client for some reason... @6gain
@amiloradovsky You have the third Reply option: "Reply to mentioned actors" to include only those who are mentioned in the note that you are replying to
@amiloradovsky I have word suggestions in my two hardware devices by different vendors and different Android versions, and in Android emulator also. I use Default keyboard apps. So maybe it makes sense to file a bug to your keyboard's developers?!
@xrevan86 I checked subscribed noted that I received from mastodon.social via Loadaverage during the last day. And I see that some of sent notes were lost for unknown reason. I don't see several posts (not only the latest) neither in #AndStatus nor in a web interface of Loadaverage. This looks like unreliable or broken synchronization protocol between Loadaverage and #Mastodon... ?!
@amiloradovsky This is natural Android behaviour: I didn't change anything here. After update the "ChangeLog" screen _is_ the first activity, and in this case going "Back" means exiting the application. This is how Google recommends to work with "activities" (I.e. don't change natural order of activities...) I understand you, but I'm not sure that "Back" to Default timeline would be more intuitive for an ordinary Android User...
