is there like ... a "cursed platform" game jam specifically for making games that run on platforms that were never meant for games?
here's a tetris that runs inside vim: https://github.com/alec-gibson/nvim-tetris
maybe a game that runs on arduino? some puzzle you can play inside a spreadsheet? a tic-tac-toe you play using your remote on a hacked television?
I'd join something like that in a heartbeat

TIL that phone numbers are considered to be amounts in Mandarin.
so instead of "what's your phone number" it's more like "how much is your phone number" afaict.

the shoulder strap is a way better solution.
@cwebber @emacsomancer I thought McCarthy himself settled that years ago: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1803627
action shot!
then I got the display installed but the bracket isn't that strong, might need to cut a thicker one.
also there's not really a battery but I think I got that part figured out
half the matrix is wired now
course, it's the easy half
#cyberdeck chronicles
you better believe I am prepared for the party effect, Amiga scenester of the past
my family is out of town this week so I've got the weekend free to redesign the Atreus cyberdeck from scratch while Amiga demoscene videos play in the background on my Pi
vpn is just ssh for suits
my city had Procession of the Species today, which is this incredible parade celebrating all forms of life with costumes, dancing, and floats.
@cwebber I have a co-worker who uses vim for everything except git and switches to magit for that. IME it's a pretty close second.
"You can't fav over email"
@vellamo @amolith thankfully that is very far from the truth!
