Koala Yeung 🌳🐨 (yookoala@mastodon.hk)'s status on Thursday, 20-Apr-2017 04:40:13 UTC Koala Yeung 🌳🐨 It is also raised in Gitlab that they can federate through ActivityPub (no discussion yet).
If enough different softwares are supporting it, we'll have an interesting, decentralized federation.

Koala Yeung 🌳🐨 (yookoala@mastodon.hk)'s status on Thursday, 20-Apr-2017 04:20:55 UTC Koala Yeung 🌳🐨 I've read several spec about Mastodon / GNUSocial / Diaspora federation these days.
OStatus.org has been obsoleted. The spec references are wrong. The W3C Wiki is outdated. And the spec has never passed draft staged.
Salmon protocol was also left in "draft" stage. The spec is "hosted" in Google Code's SVN and, naturally, is unreachable now.
Is there anything we can do to somehow finalize the federation protocols?
