    @steve@chirp.cooleysekula.net That's a lovely analysis! If the leakage could be due to the dielectric's resistance, wouldn't the observed leakage be due to *both* that and the leakage through air? Then the calculated resistance would be that of dielectric and air in parallel...

    @xj9@social.heldscal.la I remember CTRL+R and CTRL+T being used to start and stop a teleprinter I used WAY long ago, but Wikipedia tells me that XON and XOFF flow control was actually CTRL+Q and CTRL+S (all four keystrokes correspond to Device Control 1-4 in ASCII). Maybe my teleprinter was non-standard. But to answer your question, I don't really know. I was just passing on an interesting tidbit from that other social microblogging platform.

    My instance sn.jonkman.ca is supposed to have a two-way #Twitterbridge, but inbound (T->SN) mysteriously stopped working about a year after I set it up. The other instance on the same shared server, s.russwurm.org lost comms in both directions. One of these days I'll try purging the Twitterbridge-related tables in the DB, and see if that clears things up.

    I hope a !Replicant spin for the Galaxy SIII (domestic variant) becomes available soon. Bought the GSIII specifically because it's listed on the Replicant supported devices page, but then found only the International flavour of the GSIII (i9300) is supported.
