Make internet smol again

Re- #introduction due to some incapacitating decisiveness about how to use different accounts:

I work in IT, study Philosophy (history of) and Japanese, and I help admin camp.smolnet.org, a tiny (and sort of Swedish) Mastodon instance for the smol internet. I like cats, birds, snacks, books, yarn, and general nerdy stuff. I like Linux and hate computers. よろしくお願いします!

Also spent a non-negligible amount of time trying to remember where the "Microsoft thing that has the e-mails and meetings and stuff" was called

My work day so far:
Huddle fika and catch-up with the team: 1 hour
Delete 700 e-mails: 15 minutes
Read remaining 50 e-mails and delete them as well: 15 minutes
Lunch: 1 hour
Remembering the passcode to my GPG key for signing commits: 2 hours

@clacke When I did data restoration work in the 00:s the Seagate's would get a lot of bad sectors but were generally easy to restore from. The WD and Samsung drives were hell and would break in much more difficult ways - the WD:s were notorious for getting the head stuck to the disk. I'm not great at taking the end user perspective I guess D:

Ok so the data is basically saved at least the important parts, I have spent something like way too much on yet another bunch of disks since I will never trust Seagate again. The volume is currently degraded but accessible. Disk checks will be running until tomorrow morning I guess. There are...a lot of blocks on a 3TB HDD apparently, like A LOT
