@jerry That sounds about right. And I think people miss the point of teaching it young if they expect kids to treat it as a future career path.

At early ages, it’s about giving them foundations in case they want to learn more later. Learning later requires them to work past preconceptions taught in higher maths.

@jerry @rysiek It’s expecting a lot of both students and teachers to get K-5 students to do more than coding, to be honest.

Baby steps. Many of the teachers have not done more than the lessons they teach the kids. But that’s a step in the right direction.
