As a Twitch streamer, I have a small Discord community, and seeing how much they've monetized it since Discord launched got me looking for alternatives that hopefully don't involve going back to the stone age of IRC.

I'm hopefully assuming Linux and Android support are a thing given the open source nature, yes?

@feditips I couldn't find any solid answers on Google, but does a good decentralized / fediverse version of Discord / Slack exist?

I've been considering moving to one the more I see Discord shove Nitro in people's faces.
