> And finally, in an incredibly disappointing story, the governor of Missouri has referred a journalist for prosecution for discovering and responsibly disclosing an information leak in a state website. The flaw in the State’s Department of Education website potentially exposed the social security numbers of teachers.

I was at the hotel in the afternoon and the tornado sirens went off. Since I live in #SoCal, I have never seen a tornado. Naturally, I went outside to see whether I could see it. It passed well South of us, heading East, so I did not get to see it.

There's a line of storms shooting from the SE corner of Nebraska, across the bottom of Iowa and top of Missouri, broadening out in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and starting to enter parts of Pennsylvania and New York. If you're in any of those areas, prepare for what looks like a pretty strong bunch of #t-storms.

I’ve been hitting various places in sort of a scattershot in my quest for 1970s economic data, but now I think I have a base point for most of the data: https://libraryguides.missouri.edu/pricesandwages/1970-1979 [libraryguides missouri edu] the #Missouri University Library 📚 in Columbia, #MO.
