I don't need to pin a browser that I only use as a local PDF reader. -

You can now join #Zoom calls using #Firefox.
Well, apparently, you always could, but now audio will work.
Also, the meeting organizer must click a button to generate a web link or you’ll be taken to a page telling you to install their desktop program or a browser plugin. -

Nothing compares to the week I once spent waiting for #Ruby to compile on a box with a really slow Celeron, 128MiB of RAM. In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

Pleroma FE performance got drastically worse a few months ago, so wherever the bug came from, it only started triggering relatively recently. In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

– HTML5 ping attributes can be used to track people if they click a link (<a href=… ping=…>) by sending POST requests to an arbitrary amount of hosts
– tracking is possible without any JavaScript, or Cookies
– Steve Gibson talked about it in Security Now 709: https://mastodon.at/@infosechandbook/101899819296611698

I would love to see all major browsers completely block all Flash months ahead of their schedules. In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -
