Very excited for the M.Sc. thesis defense today of R. Hill. If successful (of this I have no doubt), he will join me as a Ph.D. Student at # QueensUniversity working on the # PICO bubble chamber # DarkMatter # experiment . We’ll be operating and analyzing PICO-40L (40l of freon, about 70kg of target) this year and next, and constructing PICO-500 (500kg of target) next year. It is an exciting time in the hunt for dark matter!
