Not at all. Season 1 was like a bad season of The Flash and I was so upset with how bad the time travel was that I dropped it entirely. A few years later I tried season 2 and it was slightly better, just enough to keep me watching casually and occasionally.
Then something happened. There was a sharp turning point where:
*villains have the heroes*
Villain 1: *launches into bad guy monologue*
Villain 2: Are you seriously doing the bad guy monologue right now?
*heroes get away*
Damien Darkh: For the record, I thought that was a very good bad guy monologue.
At this precise moment, DCLoT gave up every effort of taking itself seriously. They have fought a fairy godmother, a hell nipple, copies of themselves, openly embraced that every time they try to save the timeline they screw it up, and it's been a brilliant series almost every single episode for five seasons starting with that scene.
