   What a great week at Queen's University. The department was kind enough to let me use a faculty office whose occupant was away. That person was clearly a condensed matter/solid state expert. I was surrounded by the subject in books and charts. I kept having flashbacks to my C in solid state physics in college.    The walks to and from my department at Queen’s have been lovely. Mornings are my favorite. I have been thrilled at the chance to sit in on classes and learn about the teaching styles and methods in use in physics classes.     Had a great time today working on the data monitoring pipeline for the PICO experiment, as well as data quality details for the HALO experiment. Really satisfying to see things moving ahead day-by-day toward science results!
