@einebiene Sorry for not reporting my !JanuaryChallenge recently but I've had a cold the last couple of days and went home early from work yesterday. So I've just been resting as much as possible .)
!JanuaryChallenge Yesterday I went to a #spa (free entrance ticket, so no luxurious stuff like massages included). It was pretty trashy with paint flakes in the ceiling, missing tiles in some mosaic patterns... Ordinary bike riding and mapping took care of the outdoors stuff and I am starting to run out of frozen bananas now but they're still enough for today as well.
I've been retroactively mass consuming fruits the last couple of days for my !JanuaryChallenge because I'm trying to empty my freezer of bananas (from !dumpsterdiving), berries etc. At least 6 bananas and 2 servings of strawberry today!
I walked home from the annual meeting at #umehack (outdoor, physical, project during the evening.).
!JanuaryChallenge today excelled in the fruit/vegetable department, I went biking outdoors and built shelves etc. for my storage room for an hour. I also blogged at Geografibloggen again!
@einebiene Today I went bicycling to pick up a package and swimming. I had more blueberry soup and a dumpstersmoothie, plus enough cucumber/paprika on sandwiches to count as a serving. Lastly I've been playing with some cheap handheld spectrum analyzer as a personal project. A much better !januarychallenge than yesterday.
@einebiene Well I had banana in my breakfast and there were vegetables in my lunch (forgot my broccoli soup at home and had to buy lunch downtown, but I ate the soup when I gothome). I didn't do much of a personal project but I listened to the lecture in the local hackerspace and helped out with some stuff there (so some kind of projectish stuff at least)! Walked home from there, but I didn't really get 20+20 minutes of fresh air and physical work...
So I can't say I really fulfilled all the !JanuaryChallenge requirements today...
Awesome! I had my !JanuaryChallenge today start with moving all the boxes I sorted and carried yesterday to my storage room. Next up I helped make t-shirts for !umehack by removing or covering logos on used t-shirts. After that (and promo stuff for the hackerspace were carried to a video gaming event in our neighborhood) we had meatless tacos as dinner. Later tonight I'm taking @makitadoge for a walk as he is staying the night at my place: https://social.umeahackerspace.se/attachment/121837
Wohoo! Today's !januarychallenge for me was somewhat thwarted by falling asleep and waking up now (when I usually go to sleep).
But I did some paperwork, snailmailed papers and was out walking during my lunch break at work. the closest I got to fruit today was a small juice container.
For physical work, I think the shelves (https://quit.im/notice/147266) will do. I probably shouldn't include stuff I do _for work_ but they're the main reason I fell asleep earlier today, so...
Yesterday (Jan 3rd) wasn't my best day in the !JanuaryChallenge but I ate two clementines, walked @makitadoge and the closest thing to physical work was putting together a table. Other than that I just played video games (#WindWaker). But at least I got in bed somewhat in time!
For @einebiene's !JanuaryChallenge I was out mapping for 40 minutes, coded on #quittube and ate a mandarine(?). If cheese counts as a vegetable, I was successful.
In January I challenge myself to do a few things, maybe someone wants to join me? Maybe only for a day? 1.) Eat 4 servings of fruit or vegetables 2.) Spend at least 20 minutes in the fresh air 3.) Move/do sports for at least 20 minutes, taking a walk counts 4.) Spend 20 minutes on a personal project I will try to update daily what I did and what I ate. You, too?
