I just went from being 99% sure my next PC isn't a mac to 100% sure. OSX 10.12 doesn't allow users to run unapproved programs unless you do some command-line stuff to enable running unsigned programs. I'm not afraid of the command line, but I *really* don't like the mentality behind this decision. And the fucking Apple fanboys are eagerly metaphorically fellating Apple for this user-hostile decision because it "keeps people safe!"
Fucking hell, I have no idea what I'm going to do a few years down the road. Every last photo editor on Linux is totally inadequate to my needs. (And believe me, I've tried them ALL.) Windows 10 is unacceptable for more reasons than I can count, and I have no faith that my squirreled-away retail copy of Win 8.1 will work on hardware years from now. And Mac OS is going down the road to full-scale "open your wallet and do as Apple commands, you stupid user" IOSification.
Just so tired and angry at the whole mess right now. Hell, I may go back to a fucking darkroom and 35mm. Maybe the luddites are on to something here.
