@jookia @clacke with similar enough build environments and repro builds both upstream and distro binaries would be equal right... in theory.

@netmackan @clacke Only if they're borderline exactly the same down to compiler flags in some cases.

@jookia @netmackan Yes. Compiler flags, dependencies (e.g. different minor versions of glibc store different symbols in your binary), etc.
