   @gameragodzilla MUDs are dead pretty much these days, not that they dont still exist but new ones are rarer than Kojima plot points that normal people can understand without hard drugs.  There's quite a few old ones that are holdouts from the "good old days" of the genre though.

     Why does Imperian have to tease me with things that are just affordable enough that if I had disposable income this month I'd buy them.
     
     Its always on the months I don't.

     @gameragodzilla Its a free to play MUD (text thing) thats been around forever and I still play because its something I can play even when Im completely exhausted (like now) as I do so pretty much on autopilot.
     
     It's free to play but has premium currency and you can buy stuff with it.  You can buy special races and stuff.  Or in the case of Anette my character there's stuff, she has pretty much her own area by way of player housing now that I paid for.
