We rely on corporations to make computer hardware. They can pretty much do whatever they want. I always strongly encourage to purchase FSF endorsed hardware. In the future I hope we can have a Free Software Hardware company giving %100 Free hardware with no shady features in the circuitry. Hopefully, with technology, we will be able to 3D print a wholly free computer or see DIY tutorials to make computers.
