   My son is wandering around with a plush Tux and a plush Geeko. I showed him pictures of Xue and Freedo since he uses linux-libre and XFCE on his computer. I had a really hard time explaining what a kernel, an operating system, and a distro were to him. I need to come up with analogies that a 5 year old can understand.
