Flint got clean Great Lakes water previously, now it gets polluted river water because of cost cutting by the local government. Even the local GM engine plant won't take the river water because it damages engine blocks.
Besides, the water isn't discolored. To treat the water, chlorine and precipitants were used but that ended up leaching old lead pipes. So now you get polluted water with lots of chlorine and lead in it.- @mcscx@quitter.se repeated this.
