@lohang that sounds very interesting - thanks for mentioning it!
-
@lohang I've spent a lot of time looking for bookmarking tools but never encountered wallabag; I'm going to check it out though - major point is how well I can *organize* things, I don't need just one "big bag"
-
@lohang also, looking at their site I have not been ableto discover yet what it's written in
-
@mk oh wait, I finally found a link to GitHub https://github.com/wallabag/wallabag.org @lohang
-
@lohang shaarli is more bookmarking-and-sharing while it seems wallabag is more like 'Pocket' 'read-it-later'; organization in shaarli is with tags - which ultimately breaks for me, I'm organizing stuff hierarchically, *always*. So I just stopped using shaarli :(
-
@lohang I tracked to down to Python, combined with (probably a python version of) Markdown for formatting pages.
-
@lohang not all that well documented it seems to me... their source at GitHub doesn't even have a README page for the project
-
@lohang aha, looking here: https://github.com/wallabag/wallabag.org/tree/master/pelican-bootstrap3 it seems (alas) the only organisation tool is tags - just like shaarli. That means it won't work for me. Oh well... the #search goes on :( #bookmarking
-
@lohang yes, you're right, that's a README. But extremely minimal. But on their v.2 GitHub I find some PHP as well... we'll see what the future brings, but for now it's not for me.

@lohang well, that's what was linked from their site's home page - I see no other link to a source repository
