Mini-Review: The Black-Eyed Blond:
I just finished reading The Black-Eyed Blonde by John Banville writing as Benjamin Black channeling Dashiell Hammett in a new Philip Marlowe #Noir #Mystery. 5 Stars!

A 21st century literary Irish author does a remarkable job of capturing the hard boiled feel of Los Angeles in the 50’s. At the same time he inserts a few winks and nods to show us he’s there in the background.
