100k new users is nothing compared to all the Brazil signups a few months ago. This sounds more like a denial of service attack. (Which Elon would definitely do.)

  @mcnees Yeah my immediate thought was this had to be a DDoS attack from Elon fans. It ultimately doesn't matter it will be back up and things will carry on.
