For example reduced traffic from remote work it enables. Culturally, if we can reduce people into nuggets who sit in their couch looking into their screens, we reduce traffic, tourism, shopping centers, and having children.

Just datacenters. Not that it in any way decreases the problem to frame it more accurately -- but if you use the internet at all, you are part of the problem. That's still the vast majority of what's happening in those datacenters.
Generative AI is only a small fraction of it for now, although obviously plans are moving fast to change that.
