   I've always loved #T2 for various reasons, but also it's one of the best #SciencePrediction films I've ever seen.

     So I'm still a bit under the weather and have been watching some classics the past few days. After finishing all four Alien movies, today I've given Terminator 2 another watch and.... oof. This whole "let's just give AI control over important stuff, what could possibly go wrong" thing never felt that close before. Thankfully, considering the low quality we still see on the general output of LLMs, I don't think it's anything close to self awareness, but still, that part hit harder than ever.
