    It's weird to me that those kinds of releases are just way less common than they used to be.

    I grew up on badly dubbed VHS tapes from all over Europe and Asia. There was a market for it.

    That market probably still exists?

      If Aryamaan was released in the US with decent english subtitles, I'd buy it.

      If it was released in the US with an okay dub, I'd watch it sooner.

      (Much harder to multi-task with subtitles.)

        Samurai Pizza Cats is an American animated television adaptation of the anime series Kyatto Ninden Teyandee (Cat Ninja Legend Teyandee), produced by Tatsunoko Productions and Sotsu Agency. The series originally aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from February 1, 1990 to February 12, 1991 for a total of 54 episodes.[3] Saban Entertainment picked up the North American rights to the series in 1991 and produced a 52-episode English adaptation.When Saban licensed the English version, proper translations of and information about the original Japanese episodes were either of poor quality or non-existent.       I'm really glad Discotek released Samuarai Pizza Cats again. It was a very minor part of my childhood, because it was only available intermittently and inconsistently. I don't remember much about it, really, but the few memories I have of the show are very positive. I'm looking forward to revisiting it.

      Of course, this just reminds me of all the other less serious Media that I wish would get real translations and releases in the US.

      I'd love to watch Aryamaan – Brahmaand Ka Yodha, for example. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTcaNGtVNew ) but I don't speak Hindi.

      I muddled through a couple of episodes with autogenerated and autotranslated subtitles, but it wasn't pleasant and, honestly, I prefer this kind of thing dubbed rather than subbed (or, at least, I prefer to have the option for a dub.)

      I guess I should watch the japanese version of Samurai Pizza Cats instead of re-watching the Saban version

      But I think I'm going to re-watch the Saban version.
