     @theru Ha. I tend to forget to update till something breaks. Then I fix it and update. :P

     It still failed that time. I had a keyring issue. Updating the keyring didn't work. This seemed to have done the trick. The update just finished:

     # rm -r /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/
     # pacman-key --init
     # pacman-key --populate archlinux
