     @theru I got the VIC20 for x-mas at ~10. I loved it. Then it died. My parents got me another one. Then it died.

     I was using the things right on the rug in front of the TV. All the heat vents are on the bottom!

     Took me killing one C64 a few years later till I realized what was going on. Oo

     I am the original BSOD! (yes, they did go all Blue)

     @theru I would try and make text adventure games back then. It was a hell of a lot of if/then and GOTO's. :P

     (I was trying to copy D&D choose your own adventure books.)

     Mostly I hit "out of memory" errors. :P

     @theru I needed a tape once and didn't have one. So I taped the holes on a bands cassette of an album I didn't want anymore. Some time later I heard the data screech coming out of my brothers stereo. :D
